Danjoo - Interwoven Art Exhibition
An exhibition by Aboriginal artists from, or now residing in, the south west corner of Western Australia. Curated by Wadandi/Minang/Koreng Bibbulmun artist Lea Taylor and Greg Sikich.
Danjoo – meaning together in Bibbulmun Noongar language, reflects the bringing together of established, mid-career and emerging Aboriginal artists working in diverse art forms, presenting artworks that speak of local Aboriginal culture and contemporary, personal, social and political issues.
The exhibition will be open from Wednesday 10 July to Sunday 28 July 2019, 10am–3pm daily at the Rockingham Arts Centre, 11 Kent Street, Rockingham.
