Baldivis South Community Centre
Scope of works
Construction of the Baldivis South Community Centre building will include the following rooms:
Multi-purpose hall, activity rooms, consultation rooms, counselling room, kitchen, male and female toilets, universal access toilet, communications room, storage rooms and cleaner’s store.
Funded by the City of Rockingham (developer contribution scheme), with support from Lotterywest.
The outcomes of community consultation undertaken in June 2017 were used to review the design, and the final concept design was approved by Council on 25 July 2017.
Construction is currently expected to start early 2018, with the facility anticipated to be completed mid 2019.
Expressions of Interest to Lease
Once the building is complete, there will be two areas suitable for use as offices or consultation rooms available to lease at the Baldivis South Community Centre.
The proposed tenancy is 59m2 ground floor space at 13 (Lot 100) Lamorak Way, Baldivis – Office 1 and 2. The tenancy will be available towards the end of 2019 and will comprise two glass fronting offices including a small tea prep area with sink, under bench and overhead cupboards, sharing a corridor and a small toilet.
Commercial Lease Rent will be $11,790pa, plus GST + variable outgoings (as at September 2017).
Organisations that qualify for a Community Lease in accordance with the Council Leasing Policy will pay a nominal rental payment of $1 for the term of the lease + variable outgoings.
Submissions are invited from organisations who would like to lease one or both spaces once they become available. Please complete the Expression of Interest to Lease form and return it with any associated documents to the City Properties team by 2 May 2018.
