The fun starts from 5pm on Saturday 31 December at Churchill Park with live entertainment, free children’s activities, rides and attractions including performances from Jason Singh (Taxiride), Mark Gable (The Choirboys) and Reece Mastin, supported by Peace, Love & All That Stuff and Livewire. There will be two spectacular fireworks displays; one at 9pm and again at midnight.null
Mayor Barry Sammels invited all community members to come and celebrate with him at this family-friendly event which is part of the City’s Summer Series of smoke and alcohol-free events.
“The City’s New Year’s Eve celebrations always attract a great crowd and offers a fantastic, free night out for the whole family,” Mayor Barry Sammels said.
“It’s a great opportunity to come together and reflect on the year’s memorable moments and remember how fortunate we are to be living in such a beautiful region, with award-winning beaches, easy lifestyle, community events, excellent education, sports and recreational facilities.”
This year is the City’s 16th New Year’s Eve Celebrations, made possible with the generous support of Lotterywest, Media Engine, Weekend Courier and Total Kooling Solutions.
