Mark Tidman, who commences with the City on Monday 8 February, and will be tasked with the implementation of key recommendations from Council’s Economic Development Strategy.
CEO Andrew Hammond said the new appointment heralds an important new phase in the City’s evolution into a strategic metropolitan centre: “The City of Rockingham welcomes the new Manager of Investment Attraction, Mark Tidman. We are thrilled to add his experience and expertise to the team which will be raising the awareness of development opportunities in the Rockingham City Centre and the Waterfront Village Precincts.
“This role is an important point of contact for prospective investors and property developers, and we are of the view that Mark’s combined skillsets of business acumen, property investment expertise and relationships across a broad spectrum of business, will be of great value to the City in the very busy years ahead of the region. The attraction of a major brand hotel will be a key part of Mark’s role.”
Mark brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial investment and holds a master’s degree in International business, specialising in foreign direct investment.
