New Features for Mapping Tool Open up Information for Community

The City of Rockingham has increased the interactive functionality of its online mapping tool. Users can now access expanded information with greater detail including:


• Structure plans
• Bushfire management
• Heritage
• Transport
• Utilities
• Wind
• Soils and environment,
• City Centre planning
• Zoning information
• Planning constraints
• Rural Land Strategy
• Natural resources
• An expanded range of aerial photos.

The City of Rockingham Mayor, Barry Sammels said the additional features will be helpful to public users: “Investors and developers will be able to find useful information with the added functions; it will also be beneficial to consultants, students and members of the public with an interest in local heritage, Planning, wind and natural resources.”

How to Find the New Information:
Click on the City of Rockingham Interactive Mapping button (located on the homepage).
Select the desired Modules and Layers for viewing under the list panes on the left hand side.
