Learn How to Live Smart

Rockingham residents are invited to participate in the award winning free 'Living Smart' course starting at 7pm on Wednesday 16 February at the Naragebup Environmental Centre.


Rockingham residents are invited to participate in the award winning free 'Living Smart' course starting at 7pm on Wednesday 16 February at the Naragebup Environmental Centre.
 
The free six week course covers topics on how to live a healthier, happier life with reduced environmental impacts.  
 
Participants will learn about energy saving, healthy homes and lifestyles, waste and recycling and gardening techniques to support food and biodiversity.
 
Offered through a partnership between the City of Rockingham, Southern Metropolitan Regional Council and Rockingham Regional Environment Centre, City of Rockingham Mayor, Barry Sammels is enthusiastic about reducing environmental impacts:
 
“This is an inspiring course with lots of easy, practical information to help households increase wellbeing while lowering greenhouse emissions and energy bills.
 
“The course has been extremely well received by community members who have attended previous courses”.
 
Each session is a fun and informal hands-on workshop involving practical presentations and demonstrations. Places are limited so be sure to reserve your space.
