Activity guide

The City, in partnership with our community, aims to be recognised as a contemporary and vibrant destination, with plenty to see and do.  The City of Rockingham staff, event organisers and sponsors work together to build a vibrant community with access to diverse educational, cultural, artistic and social opportunities for the community and visitors to enjoy.

Key Rockingham events include Australia Day family celebrations, Castaways Sculpture Awards (outdoor sculpture exhibition of recycled art) and New Year's Eve celebrations with fireworks at 9pm and midnight. More information can be found on the City's What's On events calendar.

Activity Guide

The Activity Guide has been produced to promote fun and creative sporting, recreational and leisure activities in Rockingham. The guide aims to promote healthy active lifestyles and improve overall health and wellbeing.

National guidelines recommend 150-300 minutes of moderate physical activity each week for good health. All activities in the Activity Guide will help you "find 30", connect you with your community and achieve this goal.

Keeping mentally healthy is just as important as staying physically healthy and it's as easy as A-B-C: Act-Belong-Commit.

For further information please contact the Community Capacity Building Team at the City of Rockingham on 9528 0333.

Can't find your club or community group in the guide? We regularly update the Activity Guide, and we will be happy to include you if you are a good fit for the booklet. Please contact the City on 9528 0333 for more information.
