How does the service operate?/Images/ZONES.aspx?width=382&height=394)
The service is primarily a response service operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the year, including all public holidays, with four mobile Security Patrol Officers on duty at all times. No matter where you live in the City you can access the service day or night by calling 1300 657 123.
Clearly marked patrol vehicles are equipped with two-way radio communication and are fitted with global positioning equipment to track their movement.
The City of Rockingham has been divided into three zones, each with a dedicated patrol vehicle, with a 4th vehicle acting as a roving support between the designated zones. The zones have been set up to ensure all areas within the City of Rockingham have comparable coverage.
The Community Security Service works closely with local Police, to exchange crime intelligence and information. This assists and supports the Police in their investigations which can lead to arrests and the successful prosecution of offenders.
