E-library
The E-Library service is provided to the Rockingham community for study, reference, research, personal communication and recreational use.
The Internet, as an information resource, enables Libraries to provide information beyond the confines of their own collections. The Rockingham Libraries aim to enhance their existing collections in size and depth, and as a public access agency, give an
opportunity to any person to access the Internet FREE of charge.
The Internet is an open and uncensored network of information. The Rockingham Libraries are not responsible for the quality, accuracy, legality or type of information found when searching the Internet.
Access to sites on the Internet, which could be construed as obscene, sexual, racist, discriminatory and/or violent are not to be intentionally visited.
Users are responsible for and expected to respect copyright laws and licensing agreements.
Parents and Guardians must assume responsibility for their children’s use of the Internet and are urged to participate with their children in using Internet resources. The Library regards persons under the age of 16yrs as a child.
