 Lark Hill Sportsplex

The City of Rockingham, in partnership with the Western Australian Planning Commission has established a major sporting and recreation reserve at Lark Hill, Rockingham. It will serve the rapidly expanding population of the South-West Corridor of the Perth metropolitan area, and more specifically the Rockingham-Mandurah-Peel region.

Stage One of the Sportsplex provides for a multitude of sports including rugby league, rugby union, touch football, softball, cricket, soccer, football and more, as well as a synthetic hockey pitch and extensive outdoor multi-use playing areas and social facilities.

Mike Barnett Sports Complex

The Mike Barnett Sports Complex is one of the City's most significant assets and is managed by the YMCA Perth. The Complex is the home to the Rockingham Basketball Recreation Association and Rockingham Districts Netball Association. The facility offers an array of programs such as:

  • Basketball
  • Netball
  • Badminton
  • Volleyball
  • Prime Movers
  • Special events.

The Complex was recently refurbished utilising Federal Government funding as part of the Economic Stimulus Package.
