Facilities that provide a space for skateboards, scooters, BMX and other multi-wheeled activities offer young people the opportunity to enjoy active recreational pursuits, in a challenging, but safe environment. In an era that will be remembered for digital entertainment, the City recognises the importance of supporting young people to be active and has responded through the provision of Skate Parks and other facilities to encourage young people to spend time outside with their friends and keep physically and socially active.
