New commercial building - Civic Boulevard
The City of Rockingham has successfully negotiated the sale of one of its Civic Boulevard development sites (lot 403 Civic Boulevard). The sale of the land settled in March 2009.
Following the settlement on the land, the city approved a development application and a building license for a two storey office and retail development, with an approximately 3,233m² of office space on the ground and first floors and also two retail/shop tenancies located on the ground floor (approx 346m²).
The design of the building successfully addresses civic boulevard and the city square. Retail tenancies will address both of these frontages, adding to the activation of the street and the city square.
Construction work started in March 2009.
